I'm trying to fix my Virtua Fighter cab that's suffering from Vertical Collapse. I've soldered caps before, but never resistors. I know about the color codes, so all I have to do is de-solder the old ones and solder on the new ones? Cake right? or is there something special I need to know?

Thanks in advance,
Shmenge

Nah I don't think there's anything special. I guess don't overheat the things. Shouldn't be any different than caps.

I've built little electronics kits in the past and never treated them any different.

Soldering resistors is easier than caps. They are unpolarised and less sensitive to heat.
