Which Happ Joysticks should I get for my cabs?

Hello, everybody.

I have a question. I have several woody cabs which have some joysticks that are needing replacing. I went to the Happ Controls website, and I found a couple that seem to satisfy what I need.

First, there is the Ultimate Joystick. Then, there is the Competition Joystick.

There are a couple of others, but I think these two look most similar to what I am replacing. Is there any difference between the two that is noteworthy?

Also, if the cabs are to be used for fighting cabs, then I will need the 8-way sticks. Right?

Any assistance on this matter will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Are you ordering outright from Happ?
I've heard tale they aren't really swift with small orders.

ive never had problems with small orders from happ.

i use the super 8-ways myself, and a lot of people reccomend them as well.

also, another alternative is ponyboy, though he can be a bit difficult with email.....

i've been eyeing those IL sticks lately i might order one, one of these days.......

I use competition sticks in all my stuff. I've never had a prob with Happ and my orders (although I can go to their warehouse and pick stuff up, so YMMV.)

I never liked Happ sticks, but I'd say the competitions are the best. The ultimates are only if you're training yourself to hate arcade games.

Gotta agree, if you have to go with Happs, the Competition sticks are far better than Ultimates.

I use the competition joysticks all the time. I havn't messed with the Ultimates, but I have been quite satisfied with the ones I have now. Although Once I got my hands on sanwa controls, I don't think I'll be going back any time soon/ever.

I like the smooth corners of the supers also.
