I have noticed the same verticle lines on my MS3 rerelease that rstreck mentioned in his topic in the 'News' section.

These lines are just under a quarter inch apart and run from the top to the bottom of the screen, and do not move. They are very faint and look almost like they could be on your screen and not coming from the game.

These lines are happening ONLY with the MS3 and not on any of my other 13 Neo home carts (Including MSX). This problem is NOT one of the usual video problems that caused by an un-modded Neo's poor video output.

Has anybody seen this type of thing before? Should I contact the buyer I bought it from (Not NCS) and ask for a replacement?

Has the MS3 rerelease been tested on an un-modded Neo, or is everybody playing it with S-video?

I am a little upset by this, so any help is GREATLY appreciated!

i dont know if this helps, but i dont have that on my neo. but i do get thoes vertical lines on my nes (front loader) and i think my top loader does that too (on ANY game). Also my genesis 2 does that, but if i use a 32x it doesnt (again with any game). I have concluded that it has to do with the actual video out put on the systems i mentioned (because it happens with every game, and 32x doesnt do it because it uses a different output) all though , i am probably wrong.

This will possibly add more questions than it answers, but I know the kind of lines you mean, because I can get the sane effect by adjusting the picture controls on my MVS. Basically when the mix of contrast, black level and red, aren't quite perfect, I get those lines?
Makes you wonder dosent it?
Well perhaps not, but it makes me wonder! <IMG SRC="smilies/spock.gif" border="0">

Does it only happen with this game? If so, it's possible that there is a bad solder joint on one of the roms. I can check this out for you -- drop me a line at :
