I've said it once and I'll say it again, I only think trolls and scammers should be banned, and I only mean new trolls to boot (i.e. leave Kern and Dash alone).

It just seems like a really poorly moderated site, not 'relaxed', just poorly moderated.
There is no excuse for scammers to run wild and still be here, we should be trying to protect the community whenever we can. When a mod, and the owner of the site can take as long as they want to send items - then pass it off as being busy, or playing warcraft.. then why the hell should I be prompt with my transactions?
It doesn't happen on any other forum I go to, scammers, twats, and general bullshit is stamped out quick sharp. Bobak seems to just run away from the important issues most of the time, I don't care if you guys have met each other or not. This place needs tighter policing and it would be a far better forum because of it.

Apart from neo-geo.com, I visit two other forums on a more or less regular basis, one of them being a German forum where moderation is very strict and it's really no fun at all. The forum (a fireworks bbs) is a valuable source of information but certainly no place one would spend more than a few hours on every other month.
I agree that scammers should be dealt with swiftly but other than that, it's really difficult to maintain a healthy balance between hard but fair and overly strict mod'ing of the twats and general bullshitters you mention. On ng.com with its fleeting trends and in-bashings, one day's hero may be another day's twat so you might as well flush the entire ng.com member base altogether...

Quite why dashk is still here I have no fucking idea, LOTS of people have been banned for far less. Death threats, calling Bobak a paedophile, slagging off every single mod here. I guess its pointless though as he'll come back with another account.
