i just upgraded my 2slot big red to 6. its labeled mv-6f and has the solid cover like 2 slots.

i noticed it gets warm, more so than any other mvs board ive had, any suggestions?

also where is the bios, on the top board or the bottom? is it a pain in the ass to get to?

can i use the bios from my 2slot and put it in there? (the 6 slot has a japanese bios, the 2 slot has a us bios.)

BIOS was on the bottom board on my 4 slot, so I'm guessing the same place on the 6 slot. Once you take the cover off you'll know immediately. The BIOSes will be interchangeable as well, so the swap should work just fine.

I have 6-slot and the bios was on the bottom when I upgraded to a Universal.

With the 4 and 6 slot versions the bios is on the bottom, the top board is for slot/cart switching.

The 6 slots do draw a fair bit of current and do normaly run "warmer" than other MVS. Do not be concerned
