I just recently purchased a Mini Audio AMP from Ebay. It doesn't come with a Power Supply, but here are the specs the seller gave me. These are his exact words.

The amps current draw can range from about .5AMPS to 2.6AMPS.
The Power Supply should be 12Volts, Center Pole Positve.
The Power Supply should also be able to handle about 3 AMPS.

Ok...can someone please clarify if I am translating this properly.

DC OutPut: 12V/3.0A

AC Input: 2.6-.5A

Correct me if I am wrong, but these specs look similar to a Laptop power supply.
I was hoping to go to an electronic store and purchase a cheap universal power supply.

Forget the ac input (providing the voltage is correct) current will vary dependant on load.

DC OutPut: 12V/3.0A is what you require.

I've got a generic laptop psu here that'll do 12V 3a as an output, so you should be good finding one nice and cheap :)

Thanks for the clarification ttooddddyy and dannywhac. I found an old 12V power supply in my arcade junk box. Hopefully it works. I will probably test the AMP on my CPS-2 board since I am only using one speaker at the moment.
