I totally agree. Shock Troopers has the greatest soundtrack ever in a game. EVER. Unfortunately, SNK/Saurus did not release an official CD soundtrack of the game. Shock Troopers 2nd Squad got a soundtrack release, and while the music in that is pretty good it's certainly not in the same league as the first.

I did make a few MP3's of some tunes from the first ST, used to have them up on an NBCI site but I think they've been deleted.

No official soundtrack, no home release... the first Shock Troopers really got shafted. Such a pity.

Get a neojuke box and then abstract from the rom so that you can listen O.S.T

Also,if you have any friend who has ST1 neo cd...you can listen A.S.T from it, or you can buy it...Neo cd comfortably works with Hi- Fi

Yes, I used NeoJukebox and NeoRAGE-X to rip a few wavs. However, their sound emulation is not perfect and thus the sound quality is not that great... some tracks in particular sound like utter crap at some points (the first half of the last stage comes to mind)

And there was no Shock Troopers 1 released for Neo CD, no arranged soundtrack. Didn't you see what I said about "no home release"?

No home release means no Neo CD version as well?

I thought you're talking about Neo Home cart..

No home cart, no Neo CD, no ports to other systems, no nothin. And keep in mind the game was released when SNK was starting to taper off on releasing new stuff for the Neo CD (basically anything that wasn't a fighter didn't make the cut)
