PC games problem

ok, first of all thanks for the help...now the problem, my screen for windows is centered but when I go into a game somehow most of my screen goes into the lower-left hand side, what is causing this?

its a different resolution when you flick into the game..

also a different refresh

quick fix..

set the refresh rate the same for each resolution in windows display properties.
