Thinking about consolizing a 6-slot for my personal collection.

Any ideas on what ill need? And is there anything special about consolizing this from say a smaller slot?

Just get a good PSU that suppliesmaybe 100 watts even though you only need 75 max. The edge pinout differs slightly than a one slot also. If I did a 6 slot I would try to find a way to make the board more rigid so there is less flexing when inserting/removing carts.

Other than that everything is the same as a 1 slot.

What Xian said about having a base is a great idea someone was selling a consolized 2 slot that had one, looks like plexiglass to me.

Well I just picked up a 6 slot for 220 bucks shipped.

The shell looks like it needs a little work, but it is going to be sanded/repainted with a custom design.

I will set up a solid base as xian suggested.

This is my first custom anything, im sorta looking forward to it. Ill post pictures after it is done.

Best advice I can give anyone on making a CMVS for the first time is....be patient and take your time.
