I collect alot of used Neo AES from operator and most of them are faulty, I am going to document all the fix I have perform on them, hope that they will serve the Neo Community. If you have any fix, post them here!
A) Power Supply
Pro Pow 5V 3A
Pro Pow E 9V 1.2A
Pro Pow 3 10V 1.0A
B) System Reseting
Check Power Supply, Lousy Non SNK adaptor Normally Cause This.
Check Cap on you AES, some small value cap out of Spec.
C) Poor Video Out
Wire Composite Video Out On CXA directly to an RCA socket with 470uf cap and 75ohm Check AV Cable, get a better one!
D) Sound No Video
Video Chip Kapoo.
E) Grabled Screen
Poor Cart Contact, Dirty Slot/cart
Fucking Glue on the PCB decomposited(Become Black) and become conductive, fucking hell mess up the whole shit...Wonder why SNK used glue to hold component in place...remove all glue residue and replace component.
F) Cannot Remember, till next time.
