Hi guys,

This is used to be my main home computer, but the hard drive crapped out. I removed it & reformatted & it seems ok now. Please let me know if you are intersted or need some more info. THanks.

I guess I'm looking or Paypal or some neat video game stuff. Thanks.

Jeff

PM sent with a few more in depth questions than what I care to ask here

In other words:

Hard Drive size, processor speed? I'm curious as well.

To save jeffslot some time (however, in no way meaning to intrude here), I will post what info I found about this, as well as other specs that he told me. I also had him run System Spec, and send me the output from that.

The board shows up as being a Shuttle FN41, which when doing a look up, brings up this page on their site:
http://eu.shuttle.com/archive/en/fn41.htm
From the looks of it (case front), he has a SN41G2 (Version 1).

System Spec stated the CPU is an Athlon running at around 1100Mhz, so it is most likely an Athlon 1100. Shuttle's site states it will support Athlon XP and Duron Processors (which I missed when I was looking at it earlier myself).

RAM: 512MB DDR (he states 512 above: memory is 2X 256mb ddr 333 cl.2 (Crucial), but the screen shots and the program I had him run showed 480MB? I'm guessing the missing portion is used up by the on board video card, which uses some of the system RAM as it's own, he must have it currently set to 32MB - this should be adjustable via a BIOS setting). Shuttle states it supports up to 2GB RAM.

The hard drive is a Western Digital WD800JB like he stated above - that model is 80GB.

Video Card: he states Nvidia GeForce4 MX Itegrated GPU - program I had him run shows the same.

Other info that the program I had him stated:
Sound card NVIDIA(R) nForce(TM) Audio
Network Adapters NVIDIA nForce MCP Networking Adapter Driver
CD / DVD Drives D: TOSHIBA DVD-ROM SD-R5112

If you need to know anything else, I would wait for a reply from jeffslot, or look on the Shuttle page, as I am not the one selling it, just thought I would help out.

If I am wrong about anything here jeffslot, feel free to mention it to me via PM.

quoth09,

Thanks for providing that info.

Jeff

Only you will be able to know the hard drive size, I'd still be interested to hear how large it is. Right click on the drive icon and select properties and it should tell you the capacity.

Got a price in mind on this? I'm toying with the idea of putting a cheap PC in my bedroom, to hook up to our 42" plasma TV for web browsing. If you have a price on it, please PM me with it. Thanks.
