Delete all the inactive members, and give the rest of us their mailbox space

I have a two-fold suggestion. First, delete all of the inactive members. There are some members who haven't been on here for years. Also, there are many noobs who register and open accounts and then don't post (or post once or twice) and disappear. Why don't we delete such members since nothing is gained by keeping them registered?

Second, if you delete the inactive members, you can then allocate more mailbox space to the rest of us who are active. I keep emptying out my mailbox, but it keeps filling up. Often, it gets full and I can't receive anymore without deleting some. This can be a problem when you are trying to save all PM's related to a transaction until it is complete. Often a single transaction can have up to 20-30 PM's pertaining to it. Thus, more mailbox space would be useful, and it wouldn't overload the server if you delete inactive members.

Just a couple years back when I signed up the PM box limit was 100 message, including outgoing and incoming.

It took awhile to have it boosted to 500 so good luck.

In the meantime you can export your messages as plain text onto your computer.

I don't do many deals, but is having more than 500 PMs really that big of a deal?

Honestly, I'm happy to have 500. Whenever my PM box is full at this point, it's my own fault. Much better than the previous 100 message capacity. As far as the inactive members go, I think many of them are kept around as a sign of respect. (Obviously I'm not talking about the 0 post Huggies people.)

Why not hedge our bets and turf all the huggies motherfuckers and leave the inactive old timers alone?
