So far he is affiliated with Japhei. And from his responses, I don't believe he knows Japhei is a scammer, or doesn't know the extent of Japhei's scammery.
We could have exposed Japhei, or at the least, learned a lot about what he's doing, but the gang of pitchfork wielding schmucks here guaranteed he will never indulge information about Japhei.

I'm confused as well. I've seen plenty of folks banned for much less and under much less suspicion. Why is SF4L any different? He causes havok around the boards and generally posts dumb crap. Add to that he's proven to associate with Japhei and more then likely is Japhei.
I'm all for making sure we don't go ban crazy, but this guy is asking for it.

There are people in the middle of a deal with the asshole because people have no fucking self control and will buy anything they think is a deal because they figure "sure the asshole is in Tampa and seems fishy, but it won't happen to me."
The marketplace, like real marketplaces, is a sensitive place to control and manage.
It's easier to keep track of people as stupid as Casey McMahon (or John Delhorbe, Carole Delhorbe, David Annis, Joahnna Evans, Joahnna Songer or whatever other alias the scam artist and idiot is using) when they keep coming like a moth to flame.

I'm amazed more of you don't realize that collecting information on a potential scammer is smarter than simply "ban instantly", especially if there's ongoing deals with them currently in transaction.
Once someone has been called out as a scammer and a 10 page thread is spawned, then pretty much everyone knows not to start a new deal with them. If they start a new selling thread, we'll shit all over it before they have time to wipe.
Those who've already gotten into a deal are kinda screwed regardless if they're banned or not.
Thus, see how those pending deals turn out, then act.
