Most TV's bought in the UK these days have a SCART connector on the back. I connect my home system via a SCART cable which is RGB (colour 60Hz signal), however if you try connecting a Japanese RGB cable to the TV it won't work. The pinouts of Euro SCART are different to Japanese RGB.
Japanese RGB monitors come with a SCART socket I think

Yeah, Jap socket are different from euro scart but maybe somebody have an adaptor made for this
?
Harvey Norman Hougang Mall have a set. It is the only one available and the price is SGP$499 + 3%GST.
It is the only TV I seen that is big 25" that have SCART in, the other tv I seen with SCART are in the range of 14" only.
There are other TV made by JVC and Samsung with SCART in, The SCART in are not readily available, you need to open up the set and wire in the SCART connection yourself. The AV in at the TV is wired to AV in on the SCART connector on the TV PCB, remove them and wire in a SCART connection.
However some of the TV need to have the EEPROM reprogrammed in order to use SCART. These TV with internal SCART connector are supposed to be exported to Europe too but locally, they remove the SCART and put in a AV connector.
Have you got my email?

Hi,
I never receive your email. Can you resend?
Btw, is the TV at Harvey Norman compatible with the RGB scart or not? I believe that it comes ready right? Cos i am lazy to do the wiring again. And do i have to reprogramme the EEPROM for this? Thanks!!
Your RGB monitor offer is good, but i am looking for a 2-in-1 also...can watch television at the same time. But i will consider it cos it's really hard to find a scart tv nowadays. When is the last time u saw the one at Harvey??

Now that's a problem!
Yeah, the one from Norman is SCART ready, No additional wiring needed. I also remember there is some model of Panasonic Tao TV that have RGB input too. Rather Pricy thou. Beware that there is only 2 model of panasonic that have RGB in, the rest are DVD component input. Also, if you don't mind no name TV, there is a shop in Geylang that sell inported TV, they have a lot of no name brand that offer SCART input. Real Cheap too, abt SGP$600++ for a 34"! I think it is made in some weird country in Europe or Russia.

Hey, can you tell me the name of the shop? If not i think it'll be really difficult to find it? Best still if u have the address. Thanks so much!
