NeoGeo Board Hook up question...

Hello again, I'm planning on buying a NeoGeo Cab from a place here in omaha, ne called NTS (e-mailed a guy and asked how much they wanted for one with a motherboard in it and he said $330.00 ) So i'm going to get one from them after i buy me that Fatal Fury kit and sell my loose cart of it.

Anyways onto my question... How does the motherboard get hooked up to the jamma harness or which ever type of wiring setup they have in it? Is it just the main long connector that connects to the end of the board or is it more complicated then that?

NOTE: I'm really new to the whole MVS/NEOGEO harness and cab wiring stuff.

Pretty much you plug the JAMMA/MVS harness into the MVS board and you're done.

So there are no special hook ups or settings on the board that need to be setup... just plug and play?

The only possible problem would be if it's a pure JAMMA cab and you plug a multi-slot board in. I'd imagine the seller will set it all up for you, it's not rocket science.

you should talk to them about buying their mini. I've emailed in the past JUST after i got my 4 slotter i recall him saying he was flexible on price, might be worth the time
