component video upgrade on the neo

i know it is possible to do this to upgrade a neo with stereo and component video could anybody on these fourms help me out on this or is it even worth the trouble to do this since the neo produces less than the full amount of resolution than the s-video supports am i wrong on this can anybody help me out if i am wrong on this.

Component Video from the Neo would be converting a signal, wouldn't be worth it. It's also not progressive scan anyways.
