Using a Neo Stick on DC *pic

ok so I thought hmm I still like playin DC ports sometimes so I modded a DC pad to use a neo stick on it. Here is my only problem, I have to hold down the D button for it to work so basically if im holding down D everything works perfect! if i dont it doesnt function, any suggestions? thanks

I suggest not putting that bare PCB on the carpet. spock

it was actually balancing on the wires but good idea heh.

Check your wiring. You've probably confused a ground point somewhere (or it's possible there's more than one on the DC?). By pressing D you're likely connecting the whole groundplane to the proper ground, at which point everything else can be grounded properly.

Also recall that the neo stick has two wires, and you don't need to use both.
