What is the probability of someone obtaining a SF IV machine for their own home? I'm talking about the ENTIRE Official Cabinet and everything......

Pretty easy.

You just gotta have the insane amount of money for it.

I'm probably gonna say Beston is going to pick this up.

I mean it IS Street Fighter 4.

I'm hoping Namco picks this up for distribution.
That way I'll hopefully at least see it.

The last Street Fighter game they had was EX.
And before that it was an Ultracade with SFII-SFA3.

And with the upcoming Amusement Showcase International trade show next month in Las Vegas, they may want to push it and get a working game prototype for the show. I can see either Namco or Sega going for SF4 since they're the major players in the U.S. arcade market.

I have a feeling its going to be there for sure.

I just watched a video where the producer said hes had people contact him to publish it.

All the better since I'll be in Vegas at the ASI show :)

Wonder how much the kit will be vs the whole machine? It would be cool if it was in the same cabs as in japan.

I would love to see sega grab this. Lindbergh ftw?

That would take porting so thats out of the question.

The original Tatio Type X2 board will be used.

Valve does have American Half-Life 2: Survivor cabinets so maybe something might happen there.

Wait... I don't get this. I don't understand why if Sega did it it would mean a port, where if it was a Type X2 it wouldn't. Now I don't know everything, but I wholeheartedly admit that I want to.

What's there to port? T hey're both x86 Windows XP Embedded based machines.

I wouldn't doubt it if lindberg games booted on TypeX2

I believe there is hack to do that.

Anyway, the getting it to work the other way around it a bit harder because the specs for TypeX2 are better then machines.

I would much rather them just send over vielix cabs with the x2 hardware in em...if they were in the $4K area I would consider picking one up

ya I would get a loan, I was one of the young kids that was inspired into gaming again because of street fighter 2. My friend is one of the best players in the country and whoops my a$$ every time I play. How much is the type-x2 hardware? Any one know, have a guess. If the hardware and game are under or around $2000.00 ill pick it up the day I can get it. It would be nice to have considering alot of good games on this system already and more to come.

I think that's a pretty realistic idea. Or, at least, hopefully the Tilt will pick it up.

viewlix cab w/ x2 hardware? i can't imagine that would even be close to $4k. the board and software for SF4 is gonna be atleast $2k and it will make money in the arcades. i just don't see viewlix cabs getting sold for $2k. i'm all over it though if they do. lol.

I think youre looking at around $6k for a cab and game.

However Im pretty sure you need 2 vewlix cabs to play 2 player SF4. Simlair to a VS City set up

yea unless they release (or you make) a 2 player panel. it would still be worth it.
