hddvd may become a collector's item in the future(sort of laserdisc format) + players are already very cheap.
it's a compelling offer.

Yeah i may not get any new movies but there are a shitload of movies out now I want in hd, so my hddvd player connected to my 360 works fine,
If microsoft or toshiba or sony releases a bluray add on for the 360 for less than 169.00 I will set them both side by side and every movie I can get on hddvd i will if not I will spend the extra on bluray movies used.
