Hello,

How can i put a color adjustment on my mvs hardware? :(
I think i have to add 3 potentiometer resistors, but how many ohms for that?

thanks for your reply.

Hey JAMMA slot! 5k pots are usually a good rating to go for. I put one on each of the RGB signals and also one for the SYNC signal. I had thought of trying to get a 3 stack kinda trim pot so all the colours could be adjusted at he same time but I'm not sure if you can get em. Also there’s no guarantee that all the colour signals will be exactly the same strength across all boards you could hook up to your super-gun.

Cheers! :D

Considering the optimal resistance for MVS is about 70-100 ohm and for CPS2 about 150-170 ohm (and CPS2 is known for having one of the strongest video signal), you can get pots rated way less than 5K.

Good to know, but I found that the resistance spanned nicely over the travel of the 5k pots I used. Maybe the extra length of cable I used on my dedicated MV-4f super-gun added to the resistance dunno. spock
