That's an especially nice find, I don't think its a mini 2-slot though. For one it has a memory card slot not to mention a full size monitor.

that's a full size cab. the mini has an extremely compact CP and no memory card slot.

I have zero experience with painting metal parts.

Should I just spring for it and have whoever sand blasts it powder coat it too? Or can I get away with some sort of paint specifically for metal? I'm aiming for best results here... no 1/2 assing allowed.

yeah, did that w/ the panel on mah old 4slot. sand it, prime it, spray it. quickly or it'll run.

Absolute best result would be to take it to a body shop...

YOU COULD PROBABLY 3/4 ASS IT WITH some SANDPAPER, BOMBCAN PRIMER and BOMBCAN MATTE PAINT. Go to an auto parts store (I suggest Autozone).

I personally don't have much experience with real painting equipment although I was once a Sealant Sander in a furniture refinishing room. I plan on renting some equipment this summer (already have access to a compressor) to paint up my Candy and A DK project.

Painting is a skill. I wish they taught us stuff like that in school (without having to go voc).

Im amazed you find the time to search for these things, dirve to get them and then plan to repaint them. Especially when it takes you 3 months to take 5 minutes out of your day to go to the post office :oh_no:

Ive had none of these. You seem to thing that because you sent it nearly 3 months after I paid for it, making up a new lie every week along the way, that you are now somehow forgiven by all and free to continue trading.

Anyway to all the nancies that keep talking about powder coat and body shops :rolleyes: , jesus it isn't that hard!, if you want to throw money away then by all means, otherwise I'll do it the old fashion way, so far I've done a handfull of panel restorations and no complaints so far, so the timing couldn't be any better since I'm doing a panel for someone and I could do both at the same time.

Also I have to add that I'll make a plexi cover to keep the original CP art intact, plus if there's any blemishes the plexi tends to hinder them a bit. Send me the stuff man!

the one in the photo is mine.

they are good for less intense neo games. Like turfmasters or pulstar. You must sitdown to play, like a candy cab. (unless you're a kid or a little person) the smaller screen also gives the illusion of higher resolution for the games. I'm tempted to throw the hyper in there to rid of the jaggies in sam sho 64.
