What does it mean that a PC monitor has RGB?

Well, I'm thinking on buying a TFT LCD monitor for my PC with 17'', and today I've gone to a computers shop and had a look around. I found a Sony one, and in the box it said something about RGB. Does that make sense? Does it mean it can accept direct RGB input, through (say) a 21 pin scart euroconnector? If so I'd be very happy as I could also use all my systems around in it.
Sorry, the shop was crowded and I was in a hurry so I couldn't ask for more details, I just want to know if it's possible to have a PC monitor with VGA inputs that also accepts scart RGB.

Thanks in advance.

EDIT:

OK, I should google a bit before posting these things...

I think the monitor I saw was like this one:

http://www.lcd-monitor-online.com/sdm-s71.html

and it says:
Video input connectors:
Analog RGB 0.7 vp-p /- 5%, Positive, 75ohm (typ); Sync INput: Separate HD/VD TTL, Polarity Free, Polarity Free , Ext. Composite; Sync on Grn 0.3V p-p +/- 10% Negative

• Input Connectors:
D-Sub HD15
Well, forgive my ignorance but I can't understand all this :o

RGB doesn't mean much as VGA monitors are RGB also and those arent good for the Neo (or other low res stuff). I know of multi-frequency PC monitors but usually they're not capable of as low a refresh rate as the 15khz one needed for your gaming purposes...

Scart RGB is gonna be a 15kHz horizontal scan rate signal. A PC monitor is gonna be 31kHz. The only way I know to bring the 2 together is the Micomsoft XRGB upscan converter. It lets you run a game system's RGB signal to a PC monitor. These babies are expensive, though and require a connector with a different pinout than the Scart one.

www.gamesx.com has some good info about RGB, upscan converters and that type of stuff. Make sure to read these pages if you want to get a detailed idea of what's going on here.

Yup, I think I have got it now, I was just to astonished to see the magic letters R G B so I jumped the gun very quickly...

I already have my 21'' TV for direct RGB, but I thought it would be nice to also be able to use a flat TFT screen, but it's not necessary at all.

Thanks for the replies anyway.
