SNK Arcade Classics: Vol. 1 (PS2, PSP, Wii)
Samurai Shodown Anthology (PS2, PSP, Wii)
The King of Fighters Collection: The Orochi Saga (PS2, PSP, Wii)

We all knew that these games were coming in one form or another, but until now we hadn't heard an official confirmation for all the systems.

Hopefully these games will get some attention and provide SNK-P with the funds to make new original games.

But anyway, this news single-handedly justifies my purchase of the Hori Arcade Stick for Wii.

Hopefully the control schemes won't be crippled like Metal Slug Anthology.

Is there a date to when they are coming out? I thought this was "confirmed" like, mid 2007 or something.

Is there a confirmation I missed somewhere about the Samurai Spirits Collection in regards to what is actually going to be on it?

SS Anthology will likely just be a localized version of Rokuban Shoubu, which has been in development for a while now.

Three SNK compilations confirmed

I have SNK Arcade Classics on order for 4/28. Hopefully if SNK AC sells...there will be a SNK Arcade Classics V2 with Ikari Warriors included.

SNK-P is finding tons of ways to get me to buy the same games over and over again on different compilations.

I feel like I'm buying Hawkwind Albums.

Will the Samurai Showdown compilation include SSV Special or not?

Since I don't own an AES/NGH (yet... ), this is great news.

But how long will it take for the PS2 to finally kick the bucket? I like the console, but I'm surprised that games are still being published for it.

If I had to guess, I'd say SS 1-5, no Special, and no Tenka.



If we get it at all.

Rokuban Shoubu has SS1-5 and Tenka, only omitting SS5 Special. I think that's what the collection will have. Whether Tenka will include the additional PS2 version bonuses is beyond me.

...but STK, didn't SNKP released Metal Slug Anthology in the US first and then in Japan? I'm pretty sure they did, perhaps the same scenario could take play in this occasion.
