Seriously though, is there anyway to change things in the game with this Phonenixed version games? Besides saving the board from battery suicide what does this mod do for you as a user?

The funny thing here is that I went to SRKin the hopes to find some threads about this, or to shed some light on the subject, but no cigar...all I see there is Romwhore chat, and sanwa mods left and right. I thouhgt that was suppossed to be crapcom central...perhaps it is, but not in the way I expected.

You can change region and there's a music jukebox. That's about it. Raz was talking about adding a high score save to some games in the future.

Yeah really, you'd think a huge tournament based game like street fighter would've saved the high scores. :oh_no:

When you first fire it up, it will say "Phoenix edition"... press the button on the actual hardware that gets you into the menu at that time to access the Phoenix menu instead. There you can change your region and listen to the music in a juke box form. When you want to access the game's soft dips, simply press that same button when the game is showing ANY screen other than the phoenix start up screen.

Why would score matter? Winning streak is waaay more important.

Thanks...I picked up a Phoenixed board recently and had no clue about these other options. :emb:
