re-programmable boot?

Hi, I took a look in this section of the forum but hey, it's huge!

here is a mvs bluecart I found in a stock on a local arcade, it has no label but it's a ms3 boot:

Now what seems interesting to me is that
1) it seems a little more complicated than other boot, and
2) the presence of 2 flash connected by a green cable where usually roms lies.

So does it means it's a RW mvs cart?

Strange isn't?

It's no more re-writeable than a normal EPROM based boot. If you want to take off the flash chips, flash them and reseat them, then it's definitely programmable. Just like an EPROM based boot.

Ok, got it, but I was interested in the structure, as seems you need to reflash just 2 eprom to do the trick.

no you have to flash between 6-14 depends on the game
