So while I am sure there are other members who have already done this......This is by far one of the coolest things I've picked up in a while. I picked up a Sanwa link cable from YHJ and now have it so 3rd Strike can be played VS. on 2 different cabs....elbow room NO PROBLEM!!

Only problem is the one monitor is clearly better than the other. You need to switch out the control panels for single player ones, and then put them back to back. THAT would be cool!

I've seen Nintendo VS and Cyberball cabinets turned into two player SF games, each player using a seperate monitor and control panel. I'd love to see a dual screen Nintendo VS cocktail style game done like that though with the small control panels, finding space for 6 buttons would be a tough thing to do.

I already adjusted the monitor...that pic was just when I first got it hooked up!!! 1 Player Cp's would be cool.....but Ive never seen an official Impress 1 Player cp...so i'd probably be stuck with an astro cp or something like that.

That's sick man. I actually hate trying to play fighting games on candies usually, there is just not enough room. I need to wire some of mine up like that.

I agree that the dual-cab setup is the best. Out of all the arcades I've been to in Japan (maybe over 30 now), only one place had a single cab setup for 3S... and it just felt wrong.

I don't think changing the layout to 1P is necessary... I mean, you may end up needing both cabs separate down the road anyway. Besides, this is for your own personal use, right? You don't have this at a public arcade or anything, right?

PS: Do you have better pics of the cab on the far right of your picture? The button/joystick panel looks sweet from what I can see.

I want one of those cables, I do not suppose you have a link to the auction or a picture of your link cable, I need to buy or maybe make one..

Thanks

Sick sh*t, if only I had more money and at least 2 cabs, I'd go for it too.

Noob question :

Do you need a game/mobo in each cab or one just makes it with that cable?
