XB 360 systen error message

Have another X Box 360 with a problem . The unit boots up to a system error message. It goes through the X Box logo splash screen then shows E79 at the bottom of the screen. The RH lower LED goes to red (the green standby LED stays on)
Anyone come across this - I thought I was on a roll with the earlier gfx heatsink mod- but this is not related.

Hard drive error: Try taking the hard drive off and using the system without it. If it doesn't work there may be a problem with the connection between the HD and the system.

If that's the case, warranty the Sunnovabitz or RROD suicide

It does the same if I remove the HDD.

Follow the instructions in the hyperlink above and run a secondary code test on your system. Compare the codes to the ones listed. Then call Micro$#!t if the warranty hasn't been voided yet. Worse case scenario, look for a third party repair center or DIY.

You can RROD/suicide the machine and send it like that to teh Micro$#!t. However if it's modded, you know they're gonna charge for the fix.

If its modded repair centre wont touch it, even if u d pay for it.
