6 slot audio issue.

Hello guys !

New to the forums on here, but long time lurker !!

First off I wish to thank you guys for the wealth of info available !

I would also thank you for the bios battery warnings ! I changed that this weekend and not a moment to soon !

So on to the small issue I have with my six slot board !

every so often I have my sound cut out on me and sometimes comes back and sometimes not until I do a soft or hard reboot (unibois 2.2) I can go for hours and not have an issue and sometimes after 20min it would cut out.

any suggestions ?

What game are you playing? That kind of thing happens from time to time on my 2-slot. I suggest just making sure the games and system are clean.

I've had this happen on my 4 slot with certain carts in certain slots. I can only imagine the problem is worse on one of those monster 6 slots.

seen it happen with three games...

samurai showdown 2
Bomberman
Alpha mission

it could be a dirt issue..

one min you are playing with full sound and the next nothing...

Recap your board, the audio section that is. Small chance the pot my be failing.

Bomberman or Neo Bomberman? A lot of bootlegs are labeled just "Bomberman." That could be important, because if you're playing bootlegs that might be your answer.

The bootleg issue it might be !

The SS 2 is 100% original !

mainman... what do you mean recap ? resolder ? please explain.

Boot game/s can cause that issue..
