Built this across the course of 3 months. I work too much to build any more of these and since I have a candy coming, not sure I'll keep it.

I used a sega saturn virtua stick pro (2p ver) modded with custom stickers and overlay. I used a Jrok encoder with component, s-video, composite and rgb out.

I think the end result was really clean.

Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks

That looks incredible, I have always been a fan of those Virtua Sticks

EDIT: Btw, why are your CPS2 boards that color? Also, not looking to buy, but what would you price that at?

Dude Mike, that gun is awesome! Glad to see you figured out that signal interference.

Curious question, how did you go about applying that overlay to the panel? Did you apply it directly over the original overlay, sand it off, or get it without an overlay at all? I'm asking because I have an Egret III panel with a janky overlay that I want to put a nice one onto, but don't know if I should sand it down first.

btw, thanks again for the monitor, I love it, though the fan is pretty loud.

@josh- green cps2 boards are usually of Japanese region. the blue ones you probably recognize are USA regions.

Alec - I just removed the old fucked up overlay (original astro) filled in some holes with a putty like compound, sanded the rust away and then went ahead and just applied the overlay carefully with a ruler. It has stayed on there pretty well without peeling. I am pleased with the results.

Josh - I would probably say somewhere in the $450 range as it cost me about $300 in parts alone.

Thanks foe feedback everyone, glad you like it.
