I don't necessarily agree with this list, but it does bring back some good memories to see all of these cabs.

I might agree with #1 though, that was a great cab

The Computer Space (#3) cab still is a sick one.

Some of those bring back really good memories. I always wanted to have a TMNT dedicated cab, except that I now realize how little it would get played and how much floor space it would consume.

I was just watching Terminator 2, the part with Edward Furlong playing Afterburner. Classic! However, Terminator 2: The Arcade Game itself should have made it into the list along with Gunblade NY (a revolutionary shooter)!

Lastly, I realize that a Neo does not have special pedals, or glitzy graphics, but it's such a classic and simple design that most gamers know by color immediately, and it should have made it into the list somewhere.

Sincerely,

Mikhail

Street Fighter was always installed into junky cabinets. Top Stater was really cool for a while and pretty fun. I would have liked to see a Virtual On in there, those cabinets are the greatest. 8 player Daytona also. 6 player x-men wasn't high enough on the list imho.

One of these (at least) should be on that list, no debate.

Okay, since we're all just complaining, I have some too!

Hard Drivin
Lucky & Wild
Cyber Ball
Street Fighter (Punch button)

And for sure, like Mikhail said, the Neo. Big red in particular.

Cool. A friend of mine has a Discs of Tron machine. I need to raid his house, it sounds like.

Many of the Sega cabinets are missing. If Thunderblade can make the list, why not Outrun deluxe, Space Harrier (it was full motion in all directions before After Burner), not to mention G-Loc and the 360 cabinet Galaxy Force? Someone else mention the ultra-huge original Street Fighter and the pnuematic buttons...rare but impressive piece.

Seeing some of the older games reminds me of the games of yesteryear and their uniqueness, especially with Atari games (Missile Command, Tempest, I: Robot, etc.) and it was nice to see so many of their games in that Top 50 list.

Biggest problem with the list is that it goes in too many directions...

I would prefer separate lists (sitdowns, features, artwork, design, aesthetics).

Hmm....When it comes to the top 50 on their list, it seems they had too much bias in choosing. While some may have deserved to be on the list, the way they voted was too broad. It seems they were choosing what to them seemed to have more historical significance rather than being based on "the unique designs for the cabinets and cockpits which encased them." Heck, Pong which is the most plain cab on the list. I agree with others in that there should have been different categories.

Burgertime and Wacko were great cabinet designs. Although pretty plain, I think the 6-slot Neo cabinet is awesome to look at.

It would be good to have any Konami 4-player cab because you could really easily swap out the boards for other Konami 4-player games. And I agree, MVS should have made the list for sure. It's too unique and too much of a classic.
