Problems with Neo Geo One Slot

Hi, i bought a Neo Geo MVS 1 slot machine from an auction and it's the newer type from 1998. It unfortunately gives me a calender error and won't go past that no matter what i do. If i flip the test switch it says "WORK RAM TEST" and won't go past that either. Any ideas? Thanks! I'm a newbie Neo Geo Fan =P
