Z-80 error

Does anyone know where to get replacement Z-80 chips and do they cost that much?

Hello Resident Techs - I hate to bump up this over 5 month old thread, but I need to see if this can be found.

What is the nature of Z-80 error, is it just chip based error meaning the chip is bad? If it is the chip then where could one buy chips for Z-80...

I am thinking of procuring an MVS PCB with this error on it and see if I can fix this, can anyone here help a brother out? :o

Bliggs, they have a shitload of RAM chips there also.

Are any suitable for fixing the backup RAM error on my other MV-1F?

Probably. I have only replaced one RAM chip on a MVS board and I got it from Bob.
