I am considering a Mac Powerbook G4, so this has to go after years of faithful service. I bought this in May of 2004 and it set me back $2200
Specs:
Dell Inspiron 8600 w/ 15" widescreen lcd
*Pentium M 2.0 GHz processor w/ arctic silver 5 thermal paste installed
*1.5 GB DDR
*60 GB IDE HD
*128 MB ATI Radeon 9600 Pro video card
*NEC DVD-R/W CD-R/W combo drive
Comes with:
*AC Adapter
*The software restore disks
*PCMCIA Proxim Orinoco a/b/g wireless card (works in linux too)
*Windows XP and/or Linux (which ever you prefer. I can set up both as well)
The Quirks:
The battery is probably on its way out, as I get ~ 30 minutes out of it now.
There are a few isolated minor scratches and some smooth spots on the plastic where my wrist has sat for 4 years
.
Asking $525 shipped via priority insured w/ DC within the US.
I'll snap pics if anyone is seriously interested in it.
