Also, I think a 100-post rule kind of encourages the market-forum whores to spam (although zero-post sellers are bad, too). I would be all for a restriction based on join date (i.e. you can only sell if you've been here a month, six months, whatever).
He's posting in the market and already bumping-up his own threads. There's a line between "making an effort to join the community and simultaneously using the market" and "dudez i luv dis shit hey u wan look my salez thred" crap--I'd just prefer to know where the delineation begins and ends.
)The market forums tend to have goods that are very reasonably priced, especially when compared to the scammer-loving-greed-infested hell-hole that is ebay.
