Neo AV alternatives...

I have a US Gold Neo System (serial # in the 17,000's), unmodded.. From what I gather, there are some substitutes to use as AV cables for it. I hear that certain Genesis AV cables may work. Regardless, what kind of AV cables would work besides original SNK AV cables, that would be cheap and still produce the same quality image? And by the way--I know that S-video may be better, but to be honest I have a cab and hooking up my HC system would just be a way to play some games that I have on AES rather than MVS...

AV cables from the Genesis 1 work on NGH systems. While the original ones by SEGA are hard to come by these days, several other companies made cables of the same type and these are readily available, at least the last time I looked.

NEC Turbo Duo AV cables work as well

Will official Sega, non-stereo ones work, that work with only models with the headphone slot/volume jack, work with the Neo?
