Well I've just got my KOF2000 AES, and there's a couple of thing I considered to be 'odd' while I'm playing:

1. The speed of the game is rather slow compared to the arcade/emulator, is it meant to be like this??

2. The game doesn't display in full screen i.e. there's a sort of black border on the top and bottom of the screen.

Any help appreciated!!

If this is the system I sold you, it is slow because it is running at 50HZ, you can cut a jumper in there for 60hz which will be faster. I think someone here will be very helpful to point out the correct website.

depends on the system.. some neogeos have a very obvious set of jumpers that even say "pal" or "ntsc" on them, you just have to connect all PAL ones to get PAL and all NTSC ones to get NTSC.. dunno about others, I guess you can check www.gamesx.com to see if they got any instructions.

Nah, they don't have any information on PAL to NTSC...strange but the guy that I bought this machine from said that it is an NTSC machine??? :(

Well so far i remind it there where 2 contacts or jumpers/bridges in my neo. One in the midle of the system and the other one somewhere in the top right corner. Those where named ntsc 1 & 2 ( well maybe it was pal 1 &2 or 60 HZ cant remenber for sure) anyway u need only to connect that contact on the top right corner to get 60 HZ. I did it the same way and it works just fine.

Ray,

Did you get this taken care of? I sent you an e-mail (at least I think it was you). I had a couple of these questions over the weekend.

Jeff, thanks for the reply. I'm getting a new system anyway, so that's fine. You can delete this topic if you want too!
