Hey guys, need some help please.

I have a Killer Instinct 2 Jamma Cab that I am working on restoring. The problem I am having is that there are other PCBs that I want play on that Cab. My question is how do I set it up so that I can have multiple mobos attached, or at least change hardware without having to dig inside the cab or rewire additional buttons.

I have a Neo 1 slot, an Atomiswave (coming this week), and I would also like to eventually run MAME through a J-Pac and perhaps some CPS boards. I was thinking of a small shelf or table close to the Cab to set up whatever secondary board I was running at the time while keeping the original KI2 board in place. I have seen some Jamma harness extenders on eBay but they look like they are only long enough to put a second PCB inside the cabinet. They switch between PCB using a button or remote. I was thinking of just buying one of those and extending the Jamma wires to make it reach outside the cab. Here is one from Yaton.

However, I am also concerned about additional buttons (button 4 on the Neo, button 4 and 5 on the Atomiswave, etc) Is there a way to leverage the wiring for the existing 6 button lay out or does this require separate runs for each PCB and some unique wiring. I realize that there is probably no one-size-fits-all solution, I am just looking for some recommendations from people with more experience than me to help save time/money/frustration - you know the good stuff. ;)

Thanks!
