Arcade Monitor Question

Do newer monitors have a built in degauss or is mine just busted?

I have a Marvel vs Capcom game that looks good all the time and an MVS-2-25 whose colors get messed up every time I move it. Otherwise the picture is fine. I've been thinking about transplanting the monitor to the Neo and getting rid of the Capcom because I'm tired of degaussing with a coil.

Any suggestions?

Are you moving it right after it's been on....?

Or after it's been off for awhile?

I "think" I read somewhere that colors in a monitor can get messed up if you move a cab right after if it's been turned off..


If you don't move the cab does the colors not get messed up?

There are plenty of things that mess up the colors but moving the cabinet is the worst. For example, if I use my powered subwoofer, even while the game is off, the next time I turn the game on the colors are tinted and the picture is not clear. This is not an issue with my other cabinet.

If I don't use any electronics in the room or move anything magnetic near the cabinet the picture stays true.
