Hi,

I am getting a Sigma Raijin - over here we use 220v so I will be needing a drop-down converter. How much Amps (or watts) does it have to support so I'll be on the safe side?

Thanks!

You need to know the Wattage/Amperage of the device to be able to figure this out.

Edit: Jesus christ, :emb: sorry, that was a horribly spammy lame post, probably should have figured you'd know that obvious fact. At least when you receive it you'll know what to get, though you wouldn't be able to get the experience of playing it as soon as your rip open the box. Hopefully somebody who has one will respond.

Well yeah, I was hoping someone got one of these and can tell me what stepdown he uses.

Which country are you from?

In the UK there is a 300VA stepdown, which will be suitable for most things for £20 in their sale.

but yeah, you'll need the power rating of the item. E.g. if it takes 20V and 10A, then you'll need a stepdown which can make a constant 200VA output.

For info, stepdowns normally are quoted for the max output, not a constant output. E.g. the 300VA stepdown above may only provide a constant power of 240VA

hope that helps

Open it up....

It might have a dual input powersupply.
