Sorry to highjack this thread farther, but it seems to be the official "new user" thread. Just want to say I've been a fan of Neo-Geo (mainly in arcades, never had my own system) for years, my favorite game is Wind Jammers, with the Metal Slug series coming after that.

Just bought a 4 slot board from channelmaniac, and I'm excited to make my own supergun so I can run it on my TV (I'm in an apartment, so no room for a full cabinet).

Also, if anyone knows why, I'm wondering why it won't let me make new threads anywhere, I wanted to make this a new thread here.

edit : of course, now it seems to let me make new messages, but I don't know how to delete existing, so I'm going to leave this here, and not make a new thread.

Hey everyone, I'm a neo-newbie.

I ordered an AES system with all the bells an whistles (mods) and already have a couple games (nothing fancy)

I've played Neo-Geo games for years and even had a custom built cabinet running less than savory versions of games...those days are long past and I cant wait to get into some real collecting!

Another newbie here. Received my first ever AES console yesterday, faulty but hopefully I've fixed it and will give it a go when a game arrives!

I'm a big fan of retro gaming and obviously, all things Sega, but I've also been a huge fan of Neo-Geo and SNK ever since I first played Fatal Fury and Samurai Showdown II at my local arcade (which closed down years ago) when I was young. Ever since then, I've wanted a Neo-Geo of my own, and I hope to get one soon and start a collection.

Looking forward to meeting some cool people and getting to know everyone on here.

Only Problem i have had is being broke, I got a few games comin and already been looking at what to get next. So i hope i you enjoy urself when you do start collecting as i have myself and look forward to a empty wallet each week. :crying:

New Guy here as well. I've been a lurker for awhile and Electricgrave said I should just register. Also on KLOV as well.

I was a Coin-Op tech for 3yrs. I currently own a Mortal Kombat II I just finished restoring and have a CPS2 A board with no games sitting there. I would like to snag a 1 slot at some point. I've owned many machines in the past and had to part with them due to the military at the time. So I'm rebuilding when I can here and there.
