So I'm certain that this is on the forum somewhere, but I can't seem to find it. . .

Is the bios chip on the MVS 6-slot socketed?

Will the chip that they sell through Southtown work? (http://southtown-homebrew.com/product_info.php?cPath=185&products_id=593)
Is there any difference between ordering through there or from rizoola directly?

Sorry about asking a question that'll be painfully obvious to 90% of the members here. . .

Thanks!

According to the chart at hardmvs.com, yes the 6 slot is socketed.

There wouldn't be any difference in the bios, although you would probably get it from Southtown sooner since I'm pretty sure Razoola is in Europe.

Cool. Thanks for the quick reply. I've seen refs to hardmvs here on the forum, I need to check out the site. . .

If you order from Razoola you can have your machine's serial number hard coded and displayed on the title screen.

He can also have your name show instead of your machine's serial number but it's limited to a certain number of characters.
