Putting a CRT TV on the side

I have a few vertical shooters (mostly on Saturn) which I would like to play as they were intended - is it ok to put a normal CRT TV on the side (this one is small, 14") or it could mess up the colours?

Just unplug it for a while...

It should de-gauss when you turn it back on.

Just be aware that the supports that hold everything in place weren't designed to support things on their sides.

Your mileage may vary.
