Convert 2-slot to 4-slot?

Hello,

I am new to the forums. I have a line on a 2-slot MVS, current board rev unknown. I am interested to know if it is possible to replace the 2-slot board with a 4-slot board. If so, will I need to upgrade the power supply? Are there any other considerations? I have done a lot of reading here but haven't seen any topics about this. Thank you.

The 2, 4, 6 slot all use the same wiring. Whether you need a different power supply or not is dependent on your power supply...is it an original cab or a conversion? What are the ratings of your current power supply? If you have the 2slot version with the built in card reader you may also want to replace that (I happen to have one for sale with cables here if you need one). Other than that its prity much a straight swap.
