Thanks.

So I assume I can just wire the 5v/12v line through it and not have to worry about matching the led with OHMS law?

Thanks

That switch would be after the PSU not as the main power switch. If you run that switch you would need to run 2 switches, 1 for the main 120v and then that for the +12v.

It is meant to be the main power switch, as a DPST (5v and 12v) it is on the DC side of the power, so that is why I am confused. All switches (in this case, an illuminated rocker) are rated for AC voltages. I know with LEDs you have to match the resistors to OHMS law or you will have issues, I am wondering if this is the same story, otherwise, I might just try and open it up and disable the fucking illumination function.

Okay, but I will need some information, as I can build superguns, but when it comes to stupid shit, I can only copy other's work and not really do shit on my own.

I would need what value/type of resistors?

Just remember with those types of switches one set of poles is for the LED alone.

First you need to know a little bit about your LED (your source should have a data sheet avalable with what you need to know) then put the numbers into something like this. Its basic equasions but if you dont really want to learn it all little tools like this can work out well for you.

I think I solved it, I simply cut the 2 lines (running from the led to the top 2 poles) and will open the switch to remove the floating debree.

Thanks for the help though.
