mv-1 problem !

hello guys !! Ineed some help for a mv-1 board i had for seven years.....

i left at my parent's home a new astro city cab with this mv-1 and my nephew used to play it when they came to visit us......they were not very "soft" with it and the left direction of player 1 was broken..... i thought it was the stick and was ready to replace it !


but i realized that it was not the stick (just because old doucle dragon jamma works OK) so i set dip switch for test mode ...... All ok in the video but just left arrow player 1 not responding ...... i decided to clean the pcb and the connector with a toothbrush according to HARDMVS tuto...........

And now i have another problem : the sound is ok but on the screen i always have 4 or 5 rows of black lines on all games...... and the left control of player 1 is still broken !!



i really hope i can fix this but the slot doesn't give me errors !!
i just saw that chip snk pro-b0 has little trace of burn aroud it but seems to be ok ...

can you give us a pic of the area that you mentioned?
black lines usually mean cart contacts may not all be connecting, iirc.

Clean your MVS carts as well. Use a Pink Eraser. Clean the MVS board connector again as well. With the Pink Eraser.
