Can someone tell me if this WW7 is a boot?

There is one eprom on the board, others are all legit chips.

No, it uses TOSH chips and it's an orginial SNK board.

The windowed epROM, though, I'm not sure if it was a repair or standard.

Anyone know whether that came standard or not?

It might be repair work. Notice the solder job on that chip it was done by hand. So someone replaced that chip with the EPROM after that board was made.

Do yourself a favor though...

COVER THE WINDOW ON THAT EPROM... and don't expose it to light.

Seems a genuine cart... Too bad you erased eprom's content with your flash while taking the shots :D

Seriously, I got an original Super Sidekicks 2 cart with eproms on it, and it's not repair job. Some SNK carts do have eproms, there's no reason to panic.
I also have eproms on a bootleg cart but you straightly see that it's homemade job (seems eprom windows have been made with an knife wink ) !

Note the 225 prefix on the nuymbers. That is the SNK nonclameature for cartridge roms. If it was all eproms, I would be suspicious, but that is a perfectly legit cart. The eprom program may have been a bad rom, or a program upgrade...
