If the site gets changed then it will probably not run right and keep bugging up like chat does.

Why not just keep it as it is, it's not like the site has to be all flashy and gimmicky as if it's trying to sell you a product.

Its utilitarian and that's the way we like it, and besides..........WE FEAR CHANGE!

and btw chat sucks.
you type something and sometimes it doesn't submit and you have to type
it again with some delay. there's gotta be a better solution for the chat room.

Why does it matter?

Who actually goes to the main site anymore these days? If anything, it'll encourage increased traffic to the other parts of the site.

Exactly, why is it bothering anybody?

The NeoStore isn't the operation it used to be (I can only assume) so what point is it to generate new interest other than to raise profits from a market thats dying?

The "legacy" of this site, if it has one, is that we are stubborn, ruthless, and hard-assed. We're like the grumpy old man with a double-barrel on the porch, spewing obscenities and absent-mindedly reliving the old days.

Just leave it alone. The forum (nor the site) is suddenly going to get better just because we slapped a new coat of paint on it.
