Well,i have here tree Unibios..... one 2.2 and two 2.3.......so after ive installed the socket oon the AES board i turn system on and everything is fine.....blue screen......i turn off...put the Samurai 2 on the AES and turn it on....everything is fine......BUT the sound dosent works anymore......

I belived i dosent lost any trace on the PCB...all 40 PINS are connected on the socket...and i dosent use anything like resistors or cut of any PIN off the Unibios.....well i tested the two Unibios 2.3 in my MVS1F and works fine including sound...but to the sound works normal i need connet the Unibios normal but dosent connect the PIN01....if i connect the PIN01 the sound dosent works......

Note: The AES model motherboard is on the picture 3 !

Please someone help me ! ! !

From original Mono output and from the stereo P2jack frontside ! ! !

The PIN02 of the Unibios need cut of ???

I dosent understand this part of the FAQ:
##################################
-Bend Pin 2 of your 40pin DIP socket out also in the same manner, remember to have (the socket the correct way around (notch on the left).
Using your soldering iron go around and solder all 39 of the 40pin DIP socket to the
39 pins of the original BIOS. Do not use to much solder and make sure you don't join
neighboring pins.

- Take the resistor and solder one end to pin 2 of the original BIOS (the bottom one).
Bend the resistor around and solder the other end to pin 40 of the stack (this pin
is already soldered to the pin under it, just solder anywhere here to join it).

- Use a small length of wire and solder one end to pin 2 of the 40pin DIP socket. Then
solder the other end to pin 20 of the stack (this pin is already soldered to the pin
under it, just solder anywhere here to join it).

Dont cut anything, its a straight swap of the chips.

How long did it take you to desolder the old chip? Sometimes if you heat the board too long you can fry something.

How did you do that? Were you soldering with the board up? You should never do that and thats one reason why.
