Get rid of/Combine the hyper forum

Just a suggestion

Since really how much can anyone really talk about a system with only around 7 games.

Why don't you make a SNK Playmore supported arcade hardware section (of course the name needs work) and it can cover the Hyper\Taito Type x2 and atomiswave. Heck even pachislots and Neo print.

Not that anyone listen to me anyway.

That isn't a bad suggestion; it would at least add a few other lesser-talked about systems (though the Atomiswave could generate something more)... then again I don't know if would negatively affect General Discussions... Maybe it is best to rid ourselves of it --especially since handheld turned into a general-handheld forum and not just about the NGP/PC

I don't think that it would be a good idea to close or delete a Neo-/SNK-related forum on neo-geo.com. :)

I agree, as one of the few hyper fans I would rather see it stay.

I like the idea of combining it. Things like the Crystal, Neo Print, etc. are hard to find info on, and maybe that would be a good place to combine resources on them.

Maybe call the forum "SNK/NEO RELATED" or something like that?

What about 24bit?

Maybe in conjunction with combining the Hyper forum. In essence eliminating one forum still.

Hyper, Crystal, Atomiswave, Neo Print, etc. -- all in one forum :)

Well I was thinking more along these lines

maybe call it "Other SNK Supported Arcade Hardware"

then add in the Atomiswave, Tatio type x2, Neo print, and Hyper. You could also include the old snk boards pre neo geo, Pachislots etc.

I would not include the Crystal system since SNK/Playmore never developed for it.

I do not really want to get rid of the hyper section, more or less add to it and provide an area for the new Hardware SNK/Playmore is developing for. which currently falls under "Arcade Central" I believe.

Seeing someone as long-established in the scene as Big Bruno make a suggestion causes some people to actually pay attention.

Seriously, after seeing early photos of you, Dion/Chris and Shawn I thought one of the requirements of being into Neo was being built. :loco:

I used to have a Joey Tempest Tshirt that I got for my birthday (he's the lead singer of the band europe) and it had a quote from him underneath saying exactly the same thing.
