Are there any major differences between the two? I f I was to buy the MVS version would I be missing out on any of this game?

No... they are exactly the same...

The CD version has some extras (one more course i think)

One is 10 times more expensive than the other.

i have never seen the mvs version on ebay as i would love to get this on mvs as i am completely
hooked on the pocket version

Md Gamesales has the Turfmasters golf game listed on their site... of course, just 'cause it's on his site doesn't mean he has it. Wouldn't hurt to shoot him an email though.
